Impact Goal: Mobilise capital to expand services, livelihoods, and private investment in displacement-affected communities

Description: Human Planet (formerly KOIS) and Interpeace will launch the $100m Refugee HDP Outcomes Fund, a blended finance facility that will catalyse public and private capital through innovative outcomes-based financing to increase the self-reliance and integration of displacement-affected communities. The $100m blended finance facility will fund multiple impact bonds and target social businesses, deploying instruments that provide a financial reward for social impact, such as social success notes, social impact incentives or impact-linked loans. This Fund is designed to address the significant challenges faced by over 50 million displaced individuals in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on providing sustainable and safe access to services and livelihood opportunities, and fostering private investment in displacement settings.
