SIFI Appoints Tenke Zoltáni as New CEO

The SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tenke Zoltáni as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2026.

Tenke joins SIFI at an important stage in the organisation’s development, as the initiative enters a new phase of growth, expanding its activities focused on mobilising catalytic capital and unlocking greater private investment for sustainable development in emerging markets and developing economies.

Based in Geneva, Tenke brings more than 15 years of experience across impact investing, blended finance and sustainable finance. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with development finance institutions, private investors, governments and philanthropic actors on the structuring and mobilisation of impact-oriented investment solutions and financing frameworks. Prior to joining SIFI, Tenke founded Better Finance, an advisory firm supporting investors and institutions across impact finance, ESG and sustainable investment strategies. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Impact Investing at UBS Switzerland, where she established the bank’s first impact advisory unit for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Tenke’s experience spans private credit, private equity, sovereign and thematic bonds, SME financing and blended finance structures, with particular expertise in connecting public and private capital to support sustainable development outcomes. She has also held advisory and governance roles across multiple investment committees, foundations and impact-focused organisations.

“Tenke brings a rare combination of strategic vision, investment expertise and deep understanding of the impact finance ecosystem. Her experience across public and private capital mobilisation will be extremely valuable as SIFI continues to scale its activities and partnerships internationally,” said Josien Sluijs, Independent Executive President of SIFI.

Commenting on her appointment, Tenke Zoltáni said: “The future of impact finance will depend on our ability to move beyond fragmented approaches and build credible, scalable investment platforms capable of attracting mainstream capital into sustainable development. SIFI has already established a strong foundation in this space, and I look forward to helping accelerate its next phase of growth, innovation and market leadership.”

Since its launch, SIFI has built a growing portfolio of impact investment solutions and strategic partnerships designed to strengthen impact finance ecosystems and support scalable approaches addressing global development challenges. Under Tenke’s leadership, SIFI will continue to strengthen its role as a collaborative blended finance platform bringing together public, philanthropic and private sector actors to scale investable solutions and advance progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
